Seilen Stringed Instruments' established workshop and started a business around February 2011 in Matsumoto-shi, Nagano Prefecture.

  Shinji Takahashi, who had led the musical instrument production company he founded for 27 years, stopped suddenly at the age of 50 and thought about what he should for his remaining life. It is a small workshop made with new meaning. I hope to continue making mindful instruments while making full use of my skills and experience cultivated.
